HUTONG RICKSHAW TOUR – XIUSHUI MARKET

This half day tour offers you a hard-to-find opportunity of visiting a 300-year old courtyard, and experiencing a 20-minute rickshaw drive through the zigzag and narrow alleys or hutongs. You also expect standing on the Silver Ingot Bridge (Yinding Bridge), a narrow channel joining Qianhai Lake and the Houhai Lake, the hub of Shichahai area with surrounding quiet hutongs, and then wandering along the Yandaixiejie (Tobacco Pipe Lean Street) a quaint 800-year-old hutong.
Evening enjoy shopping at Beijing Silk Street (Xiushui Market). Silk Street, aka Silk Market, is a prosperous shopping market in Beijing, located at No. 8 East Xiushui Street, Chaoyang District. Because of its location, it is also called Xiushui Street or Xiushui Market by locals. Used to be an outdoor market, it
now becomes a shopping mall, which accommodates over 1,000 retailers and is regarded as one of the symbols of Beijing together with the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and roast duck. Many foreign visitors, including some celebrities, enjoy Silk Street for shopping or having their clothes tailor-made.
